Disclaimer

The Internet is a wonderful place, as both reader and writer can be pretty much anyone. But that also means that I cannot know who you are, what kind of personal resources you have or what sort of mental state you are in. Likewise, from your perspective, this is just another thing you “found on the Internet,” and how you treat it is up to you. Some may consider some of the exercises described on this site potentially dangerous, particularly if practiced over a long time, and some may think they should not be attempted without the guidance of an experienced teacher.

It may be wise to first talk things through with someone close, or perhaps preferably a mental or other health professional. If one has psychological problems, it is probably best not to experiment with these things – and please remember that with some conditions one may lack disease awareness, and therefore not realize that one has a problem.

I hesitated for a while about putting this on the internet, because even if I don’t think so, I cannot be entirely sure whether there may be risks for sensitive individuals, or anyone for that matter, to use the described techniques. I want to make it clear that I am not a medical doctor, mental health professional, a psychologist, or anyone with similar competence. Therefore, I again want to emphasize that what this site contains solely reflects the personal opinions of the author, and they may not in any way be regarded as any sort of counselling or health advice, and that anyone who tries anything described here does so entirely on his or her own risk and with full responsibility for their own actions. Should you despite this try any of it, it is thus on the terms that I can in no way be held responsible for what you do or any consequences thereof.
